Wisconsin Junior Girls in 2nd Place | Advance six to Semi-Finals

Six reach semifinal and team stands in tight race for second behind California

Macey Kilty (127lb) advanced to semis with a 14-8 victory of Kaden Campbell (Colorado) as she allowed her first points of the week.

In a 127 Quarter-Final, Ashton Cadman, Wisconsin fell to Xochitl Mota-Pettis of Texas 10-6 moving to consolations where she won her next match to advance to the ‘consi of 4’ round.

Hannah Ramos (138lb) moved to the semis with a 12-0 VSU (victory by superiority) on a record of 3-0 and having outscored opponents 29-0 in points thus far.

At 144lb, in quarters, Jayden Laurent defeated Hailey Finn (New York) 10-1 to move to the semi’s with a 3-0 record and a 26-1 edge in points.

Kiana Pugh (152lb, 3=0) defeated Brooke Holt (Illinois) with a fall while leading 10-0 to move to the semi’s.

Natalie Kemp (3-0, 180lb) advanced to semi’s defeating Nia Crosdale (New York) 7-5.

Alisha Howk moved into the semi’s at 112lb, where Wisconsin showed depth as the team put a girl in the championship semis and kept one in the consolation wrestle-backs. That translated to a tough afternoon for Allie Grobarchik at 112lb who entered the round 3-0 and left with tough defeats to teammates who advanced. In the quarterfinal Alisha Howk came out on top. Coming back, Grobarchik lost to teammate Gabrielle Skidmore. Skidmore earlier knocked another Wisconsinite, Emilee Orosz out of the event.
Howk enters the semi’s unscored upon, with a 20-0 edge in points.
