UW Platteville wins at Dubuque 24-13

UW Platteville wins at Dubuque 24-13

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team won seven of the 10 individual matches and beat host University of Dubuque 24-13 Wednesday night.
The Pioneers won the first four matches, including a 20-7 majority decision by Scott Arneson at 141. Jon Goetz (174) and Bryant Etherton (197) also scored extra points with majority decisions. Cole Ferguson (125), Kody Azarian (133) and Kyle Benjamin (149) all won their matches by 8-2 scores. D’Andre Johnson closed the match with a 6-1 decision at 285.

The Pioneers improved to 2-0 on the year. They return to action Saturday at the Coe College Invitational.
