Just as we did last season, we are going to
let the fans pick the wrestler of the week. Our weeks will start on
Monday and end the following Sunday. We then will give you guys a few
days or so to send in nominations then begin the voting. When sending in
nominations, please state why they deserve to be the wrestler of the week,
who they beat, and when/where at. The voting will usually begin on
Wednesday or Thursday and end on Sunday Night. If you would like to make

Week 3
Rory Edge, Iowa-Grant, 215, 11
Congratulations to Rory Edge on winning
the wrestler or the week award for week 3.
Rory pinned two ranked opponents at the
Rapids Duals. The first one being Chetek Prairie-Farm’s James Patchen,
who is the top ranked 215-pounder in division two, in 54 seconds. The
second was Wisconsin Rapids Steve Virgil. Virgil is ranked 7th
in division one. Rory is the top ranked 215-pound wrestler in division
three and is currently 11-0.

Lars Skoglund, Heritage Christian, 171, 12
Lars defeated two ranked wrestlers on his
way to winning the most valuable wrestler award at the Richland Center
Invite. In the semifinals, Lars defeated Riverdale’s Jason Campbell 9-1
and in the championship he defeated Belmont-Platteville’s Andrew Eastlick
6-2. Campbell is ranked 4th in division three and Eastlick is
ranked 5th in division two. Lars is now 13-1.
Ryan Zellner, Luxemburg-Casco, 152, 10
Ryan defeated Pulaski’s Josh Buettner, who
defeated (Scott Rhoads, Kewaskum) a returning state champion in the
semifinals, 3-1 in the championship of the Marty Loy Invite. Ryan is now
13-1 on the season with 12 pins.
Luke Harness, Winneconne, 119, 10
Luke defeated Green Bay Preble’s Malachi
Root 6-0 in a dual at Green Bay Preble. Root is the number one ranked
wrestler at 119-pounds in division one. Luke is now 17-0.
