giving the Oriole the 103 pound WLT championship.

 

IMG_5044.JPG - Freshman Nick Becker, in black and junior Zach Mommaerts of Oconomowoc, in white,
battle it out for the championship at 112 pounds. Both wrestlers are ranked in the state with Mommaerts at No. 2 and
Becker as honorable mention. Becker took the title with a with a 3-0 decision.

Gunnar Melstrand of West Bend West. 0-4 for the gold medal.

 

IMG_5068.JPG - Both wrestlers, junior Jake Morrison and senior Jesus Nunez of Beaver Dam are ranked with
Morrison at No. 4 and Nunez at No. 11. Morrison took the title at 130 pounds as he defeated Nunez. 9-4.

  
IMG_5070.JPG - Sophomore Erik Becker, in black, bested Oconomowoc junior Tyler Yost for the 135 pound title.
After a slow start both wrestlers got into a speed mode with Allen earning the 16-14 win.

IMG_5078.JPG - Oconomowoc senior Tyler Swanson, in white, pulled off a 5-3 victory over Oriole senior Danny Allen.
The Raccoon scored three points in the final period to secure the win at 140 pounds.

 

IMG_5090JPG - At 145 pounds Wisconsin Lutherans senior Tim Filter defeated Hartford sophomore Weston Klink, 7-5,
to claim the big trophy.

IMG_5104.JPG - Two seniors, John Klein of Wisconsin Lutheran, in white,  and
Dustin Wilcox of Hartford battled toe-to-toe with Klein getting the pin at 5:06.

IMG_5109.JPG - Senior Nick Broadway, in black, and senior Abe Graziarno of Slinger matched up at 189 pounds.
Broadway was the victor and conference champion as he defeated Graziano 10-3.

IMG_5116.JPG - Steve Sizer, a sophomore from West Bend West, in black, won a 4-2 decision over
Tony Kanas of Slinger for the 215 WLT title.

IMG_5130.JPG - Raul De La Garza of Beaver Dam and Bill Caudle, a senior from Watertown gave
the crowd a show before the senior from Beaver Dam, De La Garza eked out a 5-3 win for the heavyweight title.

Matt Kowalke at 3:46 to win the 152 pound weight class title.

defeated Mike Turtenwald, a junior from Watertown, 13-6.
