WWCA (Wisconsin Wrestling Coaches
Association) President Mel Dow has announced due to overwhelming
concern of MRSA and other communicable diseases the WWCA has
added an additional breakout session to the annual WWCA clinic
for Saturday, November 3.
Dow Added: "It is the WWCA responsibility to help our coaches
understand the impact of MRSA and those related communicable
diseases and the impact it has on our athletes, programs and the
sport."
The WWCA has asked Gwen Borlag of the Wisconsin Division of
Communicable Disease from the Department of Health to speak at
the clinic on November 3rd in the breakout time of 8:55-9:45.
She will provide handouts and follow up with a Q/A to answer any
further questions on identification, prevention and cures.
