Wrightstown Tigers grapple to 8th place finish at Battle On The Bay | December 13, 2015
Wrightstown Wrestling grapples to 8th place finish at Battle of the Bay
Wrightstown co-head coach Matt Verbeten has a few things he likes to do at every tournament his team goes to. First and foremost, he has small bouncy ball he calls the Focus Ball. He bounces it to each member, so they stay focused on their matches and have their head on straight. They have won three State Team Titles in wrestling, so the ball has a 4 on it. Last year, during Freedom’s run to a team State Title in wrestling, Burmeister could be seen in the crowds rocking a Freedom Wrestling shirt to support his numerous friends on the team, including Ramsey Bloy, a wrestler that he has faced several times over his career. (Read more)

Wrightstown prepares for a new conference with a strong history
On the 2015-2016 team picture for the Wrightstown Tigers wrestling team, the slogan they are using for the season is “Iron sharpens Iron.” Loosely translated, when practices and compete against champions, you BECOME a champion. (Read more)
