Hello Everyone!
Sorry about the delay in seeing the results, I
really needed some sleep this weekend! :)
Here are the results from Saturday. We only
won 1 match against Luther the #7 team in the nation, and got handled by
Augustana the #20 team in the nation. In the middle of those was
Concordia, who wrestled really well, but the Warhawks prevailed! We will
dual Augustana again later in the year...just in case anyone was
wondering...
Coming up on Tuesday will be a big day for the
Warhawks...3 duals in one night AT HOME! We will be wrestling in Gym 4
not Gym 1 for a new atmosphere! First match will be verses Oshkosh, than
MSOE, and finally Wheaton. There should be some great wrestling tomorrow
night, try to stop by if you can!!!
Talk to you all soon

It was an exciting match last night with one of our bitter rivals (Univ of
Chicago). We knew it would be close...but it was even closer than anyone
would have thought. With a tie score 16-16 the dual was decided not on
first criteria (wins), or second (pins), or third (technical falls), or
fourth (major decisions), but the fifth criteria (3 point near falls)!
Team Score: UW-Whitewater 16, University of Chicago 16

133 John Rombca, WW, def. Ai Nguyen, UC; 11-4
