Class of '07

What's the Class of 2007 considering?

 
Ben Sarbacker
Ben Sarbacker signed his national letter of intent and scholarship to wrestle for the University of Wisconsin-Madison last fall during the early signing period. He has 186 wins and 106 pins in high school finishing with two state championships his junior and senior year. He was a state runner-up his sophomore year finishing 47-4. Ben's freshman year he lost a 6-4 match in the sectional semis to the state runner-up, Antonio Narvaez of Kenosha Bradford. He then watched Narvaez get upset in the sectional final leaving Ben home from the State tournament with a 41-5 record. Ben was 48-2 this year and 50-0 last year breaking the school record for wins by 41 wins over his brother Joe who was also a State champion in 2003. He also set the school record for most pins by 44 pins over Joe as well.
Kendall Vogel
Kendall Vogel from Pioneer Westfield High School in Westfield, Wisconsin has decided to sign early with UW Madison.
His projected weight for college will be 157. Plans for now are to red shirt his freshman year. He is interested in majoring in medicine or engineering and Madison is a good fit for that.
Alex Dahl

Schools Alex is considering: Augsburg, UNI, UW-Parkside, UW-Lacrosse, UW-Whitewater, Luther College (IA)
Right now his preference is Augsburg; but he would be happy at a UW school.  Will line up visits according to interest.  He'll sign when he finds the right place.   Alex will be between 135-145lbs. Could move up a class or two with more weights. Most dedicated wrestler I've ever coached.
