Benefits of Sanctioning Your Club The Wisconsin Wrestling Federation is affiliated with USA Wrestling, the national governing body of amateur wrestling in the United States. To be a part of the WWF , clubs must fill out a USA Wrestling Club Sanction form and pay a fee of $50.00. Forms can be obtained by contacting Sandy Russell at the above numbers. Sanctioned Clubs have a say in what happens with the state tournaments, teams, along with many other items at the state and regional level. Sanctioned clubs also recieve 2 extra coaches passes at the Kids State Folkstyle Tournament. It provides liability coverage for your club and coaches as long as you follow the guidelines of the USAW. To sanction your club tournament only costs $25.00. You first must be a sanctioned club and all the competitors that wrestle in it must have a USAW membership card. The advantage is the liability insurance provided and the insurance the competitors have with their cards and also to be a part of USAW. Please call Sandy with any questions.
