WLT History
- The Wisconsin Little Ten has a rich history of success and competition over the years.
- From 1967-70 there was a North and South Division to the Conference.
- In 2004, inaugural member, Waupun, left the conference.
- Slinger was added to the WLT beginning in 2006-2007.
- Prior to 1988, the WLT coaches met to select an All-Conference Team.
- The WLT began holding a Conference Tournament in 1988.
- From 1988-99 the WLT Team Champion has been determined by combining the dual victories
with the tournament finishes.
- Beginning in 2000, both dual meet champions, and
tournament champions are recognized (see below).
In The 90s
- Our teams won 17 Regional titles, 7 Sectional titles, and a State Title in
the 90s.
- We have had consistent success at the state individual team tournament (57 WIAA State
Place winners --with 14 Champions -- and 28 WISSA Placwinners from 1990-1999).
- Oconomowoc has represented our Sectional at the State Team Tournament in 1995 and 1996.
- Hartford represented their Sectional at the State Team Tournament in 1997, 1998,
and 1999.
- Beginning in the 1999-2000 season, the WLT
began awarding two trophies: one
for the dual champion and one for the tournament champion.
