Folkstyle (high school style) rules. National Federation rules book will
apply. HEADGEAR MANDATORY, hair netting OPTIONAL.
NCAA rules for OPEN Women's Division.

Due to space limitations, there will be a limit to the first 375
wrestlers
The Pre-registration entry fee is $12.00 per wrestler.
Walk-ins Friday will be $15.00. Entry fee must be returned with signed
parent permission slip.
The tournament will be open to all Kindergarten to 8th grade wrestlers
and will be held at Denmark High School. Five Divisions will be
utilized: K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8. In the event a match can not be
scheduled within the correct division we will be contacting the coach or
the parents and we will try to make arrangements.
We will be pre-bracketing based on your registration weight written on
sheet. Brackets will be posted immediately after weigh-ins complete.

Tournament Format
Grades K - 2 1) Wrestlers will be organized in a 4-man bracket. If the
bracket has four wrestlers, each wrestler will be guaranteed three
matches.
2) Each match will consist of three one-minute period.
3) Wrestlers will remain on the same mat for the entire tournament.
No Tears Format - No match score will be kept for these bouts, and all
wrestlers will receive a wrestling medal at the completion of the
bracket.
Grades 3 - 6 1) Wrestlers will be bracketed in a 4-man round robin
format.
2) Each match will consist of three one-minute periods.
3) Each period will begin with the wrestlers on their feet.
4) Trophies will be awarded for first place and medals will be awarded
for second through fourth place.
5) Ties will be decided on the basis of the wrestler who scored the
first points in the match.
No Headlock Rule for Grades K - 6: Headlocks used as a takedown or as a
pinning combination will be treated as a potentially dangerous hold. If
a wrestler uses the position on his feet, the match will be stopped then
restarted. If a wrestler is in a pinning combination and the maneuver
ends up in a headlock position, pin points will be awarded (so long as
pinning criteria has been met) and the wrestlers will be restarted from
the down position.

Awards: Trophies for 1st, Medals for 2nd 4th
Team Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Format: Folkstyle Four-man round robin brackets
Maximum 400 wrestlers No USA card required
Divisions: 4K-K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8
Brackets determined by grade and years experience
Registration: $12.00 Pre-paid registration
Postmark by January 25th, 2012
$15.00 Saturday, Jan. 28th from 4-6 pm-No Walk-Ins on Sunday
Wrestler Check in: All Wrestlers Must go through health check and weight
check starting at 7 am.
Weight must be within 3lbs. of registration weight or wrestler will
forfeit no exceptions.
Check In Will Close Promptly At 8:45 am.
Wrestling will start at 9 am.
Team Tournament: $15.00 entry fee, 10 man teams
(Clubs may enter more than one team)
Admission: $3.00 adults / $1.00 students

Where: Weyauwega-Fremont High School Gym, Ann St. Weyauwega
Time: Weigh-ins from 7:30am-9:00am
Wrestling to begin at approximately 10:00am
Cost: $12.00 pre-registered and $15.00 at the door
Awards: K-8th, medals for 1st through 4th place
Locker room facilities are available, but you are responsible for your
own valuables.
Brackets-4man round robin, matches consist of 3 one minute periods.
Pre-Registration due by January 23rd, 2009
Walk-ins welcome but subject to availability
Team Award Competition
Coaches are to select 10 wrestlers from their club to form a team
Trophies will be presented to the teams with the top 3 point totals

TrackWrestling Model Format will be used.
In and Out in 3½ hours including weigh-in.
Divisions: K-2 Non-competitive (Ribbons for awards)
K-1 Competitive (Birthdates 9/1/04 to present)
2nd 3rd Grade (Birthdates 9/1/02 to 8/31/04)
4th 5th Grade (Birthdates 9/1/00 to 8/31/02)
(Age overrides grade)
Weigh-Ins: 4:00 - 4:45 pm
Wrestling begins at 5:00 pm. Wrestling completes around 7:30 pm
Format: 5 Man Round-Robins targeting 4 matches with 1 every half hour.
(3, 4, or 6 Man Round-Robins may be used if necessary)
Awards: Champions 2.5 Custom Medals
Runnerup & Third 2 Silver/Bronze Medal
4th Place 1.5 Medal 5th Place Ribbon
Entry Fee: $12.00. Wrestlers May Preregister And Pay At

Registration limit is 140 wrestlers. Registration closes at 5 p.m. on
Monday, January 30th or earlier.
There will be no email registrations this year.
TEAM ENTRY: If you wish to enter as a team, the following conditions
apply:
1) Contact Bδrry Schmitt (715-985-3172 ext. 105) by January 30, 2012 .
2) Register your team members on-line.
3) After the tournament your team/club will be refunded based on the
table
11 14 Wrestlers - $1/Wrestler 15 19 Wrestlers - $2/Wrestler
20 24 Wrestlers - $3/Wrestler 25 + Wrestlers - $4/Wrestler
Admission: Non-participants - $1.00. Children not in school free.
Matches: Three one minute periods. Two point near falls only. If a match
ends in a
tie, a thirty-second sudden death overtime, followed by two 15 second
periods and a 15 second ultimate tie-breaker if needed..
Concessions will be sold at the school.
