Age Groups: A wrestler’s age on the date of the qualifying tournament will determine his/her age group for that particular tournament. If a wrestler is 12 years old now and turns 13 before the Border Wars National Championships and qualifies in the 11&12 age group, then that wrestler will have to participate in the Border Wars Championships at the 13&14 age group. This is the same for all age groups!

Weigh-Ins: 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Matches begin at approximately 11:00 a.m.
Rules & Regulations:
Entry Fee $12.00 per wrestler.
WIAA Wrestling rules will be used for all matches.
For overtime, the first points scored will be the winner.
3-1 minute periods will be used for all matches.
3-4 Man round robin brackets,
Division determined by Grade Pre-K thru 6
• Division I Pre-K & Kindergarten
• Division II Grades 1&2
• Division III Grades 3&4
• Division IV Grades 5&6
• Division IIV Grades 7&8
All weight classes will be determined after weigh-in.
Medals for all places (1st -4th).
Other information:
Concessions available all day.
Admission for spectators: Adults - $3 / Student - $2 / Pre-K & Under - Free

REQUIREMENTS:  First Place finish in any Wisconsin, or Upper Michigan Youth Tournament.  Copy of First Place bracket and $15.00 entry fee shall be presented at time of pre-registration and weigh-in.  NO WALK INS. 
LIMIT 600 Wrestlers, Folkstyle Wrestling, WIAA Officials
FIVE DIVISIONS:  PreK-K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8  (wrestle back to third place in all divisions)
TROPHIES:  PreK-8: 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th,  6^th place (7-8 places will receive medals)
1^st Place Champion will also receive WTOC wall chart

Bracketing will be done on Wednesday, April 16, 2008.  Wall Charts will be posted Friday, April 18th at 7:00 p.m. (and also available online at www.gsyouthwrestling.org.)  On the day of the tournament, there will be no weigh-in required for K-4 wrestlers, 5-8 wrestlers will be weighed in from 11:00-12:30 at the GILLETT GRADE SCHOOL.  Three pound weight allowance.  Wrestlers failing to make weight will not be allowed to move up unless there is an opening in an upper bracket.
