The Black River Falls wrestling teams, coaches, and their parents will
host a K-8 wrestling tournament on Saturday, March 17th.
PLACE: Main Gymnasium of the Black River Falls High School
TIME: REGISTRATION AND WEIGH-IN 8:30-9:00 (Note 1/2 hour only)
WRESTLING--after bracketing is completed—Approximately 9:45
COST: $7.00 per wrestler. $60.00 per team (10 or more wrestlers).
Check’s payable to B.R.F. Wrestling
$1.00 for adult spectators and $.50 for students.
COMPETITION: 3rd through 8th grades will follow WIAA Rules
There will be a two-match guarantee. 3 or 4 person round-robin format
will be used.
Brackets will be by weight and grade when possible.
K-2nd grade match length 1-1, non-scoring. Both wrestlers will have
hands raised at the end of the match.
Matches can be scored if requested and agreed upon by all bracket
participants and parents/guardians.
3rd – 8th grade match length 1-1-1, first score in the match will decide
any ties.
A no headlock rule will be in effect for K-2.
CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be on hand the entire day thanks to the
BRFWC Boosters.
ENTRY FORM: Every wrestler must fill out the waiver form. Form is
included.
Duplicate as needed. Do not fax or send form. You can register at
the door, but the form must be signed by a parent or guardian.

3. Team trophies will be awarded to the top 3 teams. A team consists of
any 10 wrestlers,

held accountable to make restitution, will be disqualified, and will
be
asked to leave the premises immediately.

Requirements: Any K-8 wrestler that has taken at least 1 first place at
any tournament in
2007 has qualified and may attend this tournament. (You must have a
dated bracket sheet at weigh-ins, no exceptions).
